ORDERING

How can I place an order?

How far in advance do I need to order?
Orders received online are shipped within 2 to 3 business days. On occasion, such as holiday rush times, additional time may be required. Standard shipments are guaranteed to arrive within 5 business days after your order is processed. Expedited service is available, but can be costly. You can order as far in advance of a desired delivery date as you want. The sooner, the better. Call us at 888.808.8587 to place advance orders. We sometimes offer discounts on large quantity advance orders. Be sure to ask when you call.

Can I specify an exact delivery date?
When you need a gift to arrive on a specific date, you may need to select an Express Delivery method, depending on your time frame. The sooner you place your order, the better. Call us at 888.808.8587 to arrange for a specific delivery date. We will make every effort to deliver your gift on the desired date at the lowest possible cost to you. How do I request a catalog?
Sorry. We don’t have a catalog. By not printing a catalog, using recycled packing materials, and using gift containers that can be repurposed when empty, we hope to do our small part to minimize our ecological footprint.

I’m really, really busy. Can I just call and tell you how much I want to spend and let you take it from there?
Absolutely! Much like you would with a florist, just call and give us a budget and we will put together the freshest and most beautiful basket possible within that budget.

I don’t want to order online. When can I call you?
We accept telephone orders Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm EST. Call toll free at 888.808.8587 or 434.589.2484.

What is your return policy?
Unopened baskets, in original, good condition may be returned for a full refund minus a 20% restocking fee. Any food items that have been opened or tampered with cannot be returned. Delivery and shipping fees are not refundable. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Custom or personalized products are NOT eligible for returns or refunds.

Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted?
Please contact us at 888.808.8587 or email us if you need to cancel or change your order. Any change or cancellation must be done within 24 hours from the time the order was placed and can only be done if the order has not yet been processed and shipped out.

Why do I need to give you my email address?
We need your email address in order to communicate information about your internet orders. We will use your email address only when we are confirming your order, notifying you of updates to the website, or keeping you informed about seasonal offerings and specials.

How do I know you have received my online order?
You will receive confirmation of your order via email at the email address that you provide.

SHIPPING

Do you charge for shipping?
Yes. Shipping is in addition to the gift cost. Your shipping costs will be displayed during check out. Click here for shipping rates and detailed shipping information.

What if my order gets damaged during shipping?
Please report any damaged deliveries to us immediately so that we may file a claim with the carrier. Be sure to keep all the packaging as well as the damaged goods as the carrier may require them to ensure a replacement. We want your experience with ElizabethWoodson.com to be a good one and will make every effort to replace damaged goods and ensure your satisfaction.

Can you ship to Canada and outside the United States?
No. We ship via standard UPS ground throughout the contiguous United States. We cannot ship to PO boxes or addresses outside of the U.S.

Can I use my company’s shipping service instead of yours?
Yes. If you prefer to ship using your corporate carrier account you will need to call us to place your order and take full responsibility for making all the shipping and payment arrangements. You must have all shipping charges billed directly to your company. Please be aware that our shipping prices will not apply. You will be charged according to your company carrier’s pricing schedule.

PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes. We take serious measures to offer you only the highest levels of protection. All information that you provide during the shopping process is encrypted for your protection. We never send personal information, such as your credit card number, over the network in a way that is readable to anyone but us. We encrypt your information and send it over the internet using SSL (secure socket layer) technology.

When is my credit card charged for an order?
Your credit card is charged at the time your order is placed, pending approval from your credit card company.

Is the information I provide ElizabethWoodson.com kept private?
ElizabethWoodson.com recognizes that your privacy is important to you and is committed to maintaining and using your information responsibly. Our privacy policy describes the information we collect and how we use it.

Is there sales tax charged to my purchases?
Sales tax is charged on gifts delivered to the state of Virginia. We are obligated by law to collect sales tax for orders sent to states where we maintain a substantial business presence.

What if my organization is exempt from sales tax?
If your organization is exempt from sales tax, you will need to telephone us so we can set up a tax exempt account for you. We require that you fax us a federal Virginia tax exempt certificate.

OUR PRODUCTS

Do you design custom baskets?
Absolutely. With a little lead time, we can tailor baskets to your specifications. We also do custom favors and swag bags for corporate events, product launches, weddings and celebrations of any kind. We can work directly with your party planner or caterer to insure that themes and deadlines coordinate. Call 888.808.8587 for details.

Can I send a personalized message with my gift baskets?

Absolutely! Your baskets will all arrive with your free occasion-specific gift card, which is included with each gift. Most of our enclosure cards are handcrafted and tailored exclusively to match the gift! You will be asked to compose your message during the checkout process. We even have gift message samples to help you get your creative juices going!

What is your product substitution policy?
In the rare case that an item is out of stock we will replace it with an item of equal or greater value. Chocolate in certain gifts may be replaced by less perishable items during the summer months, when necessary.

How long will the gourmet foods in my gift basket stay fresh?
These items are best if consumed within 3 to 4 months.

Do you sell fruit baskets?
No. We occasionally add a bit of fruit to a basket, but in general we are not in the fruit basket business.

Do you sell balloons?
No.

Do you sell fresh flowers?
No.

Can you put alcoholic beverages in a gift?
Not at this time.
